Spicy roasted pumpkin is a recipe inspired by Jamie Oliver. You can have it as a snack, but as well you could make a light lunch out of it. You only need to cut the pumpkin into pieces, season them with spiced olive oil and then bake them in the oven.

Walliser Käseschnitte

The first time I saw and ate “Walliser Käseschnitte” was on Holiday in the Matterhorn region in Switzerland. I couldn’t find a good English translation, so I kept the original German name. It consists of bread, tomatoes and pickles with a mixture of wine, cheese and cream. Delicious after a long walk!

I made these pork medaillons very recently, and this will become an evergreen, for sure. My original dutch version of this oven dish became the most popular recipe on the blog in shortest time.

In the category “fish” this oven dish with Pangasius filet is similarly popular as the pork medaillons. Of course you can use many types of fish for it, but the creamy tomato-saffron sauce is really delicious. And the combination with black olives works very well.

In the beginning of this year I was looking for a different approach to use eggplants in the kitchen. This one really surprised me and with the Greek pasta it could easily be a traditional greek dish.

I made so many pumpkin recipes, I could make a separate overview with them along. This is one of my recent creations, and I like it very much for its different approach. Use small pumpkins for this recipe to have portions for approximately 2 persons per pumpkin.

Melting pot of chocolate and baileys

Melting pot of chocolate and baileys is one of my oldest recipes and the all time favourite dessert for many people. It is a calorie bomb, but the combination of chocolate, baileys and almond powder ist just delicious. Baked on the outside, fluid inside. You can have it with ice-cream and maybe also some red fruits.
